Before your visit
Once you’ve booked, we’ll be in touch to learn more about your wedding plans and favourite styles, so we can make your appointment as personalised as possible.
Don’t worry if you’re feeling nervous. That’s completely normal. Many brides are surprised by how quickly they find “the one”, often falling in love with a dress within their first few selections.
Who can you bring?
To ensure you have the best experience and plenty of space to enjoy the moment, we kindly ask that you bring no more than two guests. Our boutique offers a warm, relaxed and personal atmosphere where every bride receives dedicated one-to-one attention.
Well-behaved children are welcome, though with pins, rails and long trains around, most brides find it a calmer afternoon without little ones. We’re afraid we can’t have dogs in the boutique, as our sample gowns are shared between every bride who visits.
There is one staircase up to the boutique. If you have any accessibility needs, please call us before you book and we’ll do our very best to make arrangements.
What to wear
For your appointment, we recommend wearing nude or seamless underwear where possible.
There’s no need to bring shoes, as we have a selection available for trying on, although you’re welcome to bring a pair with a similar heel height to what you’re planning on wearing on the day.
One small ask: we kindly ask that fake tan is avoided before your appointment, to help keep our sample gowns in pristine condition for all brides.
During your appointment
Your stylist will work through the rail with you, and beyond it. Many brides fall in love with a dress within their first few selections; others need the full appointment and a second visit. Both are completely normal, and neither will be rushed.
We’ll also talk you through alteration options, designer services, and all the finishing touches, including veils and accessories, to help complete your bridal look.
After you say yes
We’ll talk you through ordering and timings, alterations, and the veils and accessories that complete the look.
A deposit of at least 50% is payable when you order, with the balance due within two weeks of your gown arriving with us. Gowns that are not in stock usually take around 16 to 20 weeks to come in, so we’ll be realistic with you about timings from the start.
Alterations are arranged with our recommended seamstress, who you’ll be introduced to at your fitting, and paid for directly with her. You’ll find the full details in our terms and conditions of sale.
