Sharon and Tanya’s friendship began in 1998, while studying for their teaching degrees. Although their careers took them to different schools and counties, they remained close friends for more than two decades. In a lovely twist of fate, after Sharon moved to Hertfordshire, she even ended up teaching Tanya’s daughter.
A few years ago, while planning her own wedding, Sharon discovered a genuine passion for the bridal industry and for helping brides find the dress. Around the same time, Tanya was working in a bridal boutique and falling in love with those unforgettable “yes to the dress” moments too.
It soon became clear that their shared passion, combined with years of friendship, experience and enthusiasm, could become something truly special.
Today, Sharon and Tanya are delighted to welcome brides into a warm and welcoming boutique, where finding your dream dress is just as special as the day you’ll wear it.

Meet the team
Sharon
Having worked in education and the creative arts sector for over 25 years, I have always loved bringing projects to life and seeing creative ideas come together. I recently got married myself, so I understand just how emotional and sometimes anxiety-inducing the bridal journey can be. Whilst I was warmly welcomed by some, I didn’t always feel completely comfortable, which inspired me to create a different experience for our brides. I am passionate about making every bride feel excited, body-confident, special, and surrounded by the magic they deserve. Alongside working full-time in secondary education, I love meeting and talking with people, and this is a venture I am incredibly excited to begin.
Tanya
Before stepping into the bridal world, Tanya spent years teaching secondary education and, more recently, supporting families with Special Educational Needs (SEN), giving her a deep understanding of neurodiverse brides. Already working in a boutique, she loved those magic “yes to the dress” moments. When Sharon revealed her dream during a catch-up, Tanya jumped right in. Currently engaged herself, Tanya brings relatable excitement and a calm, uniquely adaptable touch to every single appointment.
The boutique
Our boutique is nestled in the heart of the beautiful Offley Hoo Farm Estate, just outside Hitchin, and perfectly situated near stunning local venues like Offley Place and Lodge Farmhouse.
The estate is also home to a range of independent traders, making it the perfect place to enjoy freshly baked bread and patisserie, pick up local produce, or relax with a coffee before or after your appointment.
Parking is free and right outside.
